Skilfully capturing personality and practicality, this Dublin city apartment was designed with urban living in mind.

Our client, a successful professional, wanted a living space that would both reflect his own fun and relaxed outlook on life, yet still recognise the importance of spatial, bright and functional living. This apartment underwent a major transformation, with the walls being moved to uncover a freer, fully-open living space which would act as our blank canvas. Bold colours in the entrance hall combined with a hand-picked neon sign added energy while the apartment acoustics were softened overall thanks to bedroom wall-panelling in Luxe fabrics.

Storage solutions in the form of bespoke joinery were carefully weaved throughout the apartment and beautiful functionality allied to Scandinavian thinking was also the primary inspiration for the kitchen and living area. Installing a bulthaup b1 kitchen brings an understated elegance, delivering a contemporary yet relaxed, clean look-and- feel. Merging two contrasting approaches in one living space was confidently drawn together through natural oak flooring underfoot and oak shelving throughout. An electric blue velvet sofa, deftly re-upholstered, provided the final touch in this harmonious marriage of style and substance.
